Let’s start with the very first thing that is “What is the word for season in Korean?”. The word for season in Korean is 계절 (gye-jeol). The season of a country depends on certain factors i.e; temperature, weather conditions and most importantly the Earth’s position in relation to the sun.
South Korea has mainly four seasons- summer,
spring, winter and autumn.
-- Summer = 여름 (yeo-reum)
-- Spring = 봄 (bom)
-- Winter = 겨울 (gye-eul)
-- Autumn/fall = 가을 (ga-eul)
Now the next question that comes in your
mind is when these season starts and when these season ends every year.
-- Spring = Between April and June
-- Summer = From July to August
-- Autumn = Between September to November
-- Winter = Between December to March
