In this blog we will learn color names in Korean.

Colors in Korean

Let’s start with the first thing that is the Korean word for “color”. The Korean word for color is (saek) or 색깔 (saekkal). If you look up the Korean word for “color” in the dictionary, you may also come across the Konglish word (Korean + English word) 컬러 (kheolleo). In my opinion try remembering (saek) as it is used more often.

Before learning colors in Korean, let’s see how we can use them in a sentence. When naming colors in their basic form, you’ll just have to add the word (saek) after the name of the color. Now, let’s look at the list of some common colors in Korean.
